Oscar:
Being drawn to tattoos at a very early age; I started drawing tattoo images on paper, tracing over them several times, cutting them out & applying via spit on my grade school classmates for a Penny (needed bubble gum). In my pre-teen years I was always drawing on everything I could get my hands on, so I eventually started tattooing my 3 older brothers & myself with the hand poking method. By the time I was a teenager, I came across a homemade tattoo machine and started tattooing the neighborhood like crazy, doing hundreds upon hundreds of homemade tats until I finally landed an apprenticeship at Rays Tattoos at the age of 18. After several years of tattooing and maintaining a normal 9-5, I finally opened Bustos on 4-20-2000.

I've been drawing for as long as i can remember. I took just about every class I could in high school and drew on practically everything. I've been tattooing since 01'. I was brought into tattooing by my friend Neftaly "Lefti" when we were still in high school, so I didn't have to worry about a summer job, ever! I've worked at Bustos Tattoo ever since. I'm usually back and forth from Phoenix and Round Lake and also work at various tattoo conventions, so I'm usually on the go, but can be reached at 847-740-1255 for an appointment.

Neftaly ( A.K.A.- Lefti):
Born in Mexico in the state of Jalisco, moved to the L.A. area at a young age, then to Round Lake. Currently enrolled in college, pursuing a degree in design. I've been drawing most of my life & tattooing the last five years.
